Norman and Susie started Nightsong Farms in 1996. The land has been in Susie's family for over fifty years. Norman's family farm is nearby and has been in his family for about the same time. We wanted to have a farm like we remembered. One that fed us but also raised animals and crops for sale.

We began with a three cows and two goats. It did not take us long to add poultry and sheep to our menagerie. The cattle were sold a few years ago due to our need for more expensive equipment to work them. Now we concentrate on the things that we can manage alone-goats milk soap, fiber, poultry and produce.

We enjoy our farm and it serves us well. We think we have acheived our goal of keeping the farm manageable and still producing quality products. We hope you enjoy our site and will come back to visit often. There is always something new to see.
