About Us
Nightsong Farms was established in
1995. The land has been in our family for
60 years. We wanted an old fashioned
family farm that included raising our own
food and fiber, selling the excess and
being as self sufficient as possible. We
started with dairy goats and gradually
added poultry and fiber animals as well as
vegetables and orchards . It has been a
long , difficult but very satisfying 10 years.
We have learned very much about
animals, plants and self-reliance. Our faith
in God has sustained us through the
rough places. We have learned the hard
but necessary lessons of respect for the
land, our animals and the things that
grow here.
Norman is a true Rennaissance man with
skills in building, woodworking, fencing,
animal husbandry and plant husbandry.
Susie processes fiber, spins, weaves,
